More About Danielle Sheedy
Hi, I’m Danielle Sheedy, director of Safari Creators, I can be your travel designer!
I was born and raised in South Africa, in a small town bordering the Kruger National Park.
After graduating from university with a distinction in journalism, I went into the hospitality industry and began my life of travel.
I moved to the United States, where I worked for the Ritz Carlton Club in Aspen, the Miami Marriott, Biscayne Bay in Miami, and was head-hunted to join Royal Caribbean International, where I was lucky enough to travel the world by ship, working as a Guest Services Officer, and then being promoted to Loyalty Ambassador.
After five years abroad (and 56 countries visited), Africa began calling and I moved back home, where I anchored for a local news station and also wrote for a local glossy magazine.
I wanted to create a business where I could combine my love of people, travel, writing and most of all, my passion for Africa.
Tourism was the next step for me. My family have been in the industry for decades, and it was pretty much as natural as breathing for me.
My aim was to be able to assist travellers in experiencing the romance and the adventure of Africa and tick items off their bucket list, as I’ve been able to do.
And so I began Safari Creators in January of 2018, putting together tailor-made itineraries to Southern and East Africa for my clients.
I’m able to offer personalised service, fast responses, competitive prices and in-depth knowledge of Africa as a destination. Most importantly, I pride myself on promoting responsible, ethical tourism in Africa.
I’m based at Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park, at Elephant Walk Retreat, and specialise in the Kruger area.
